Hi are you there? How are you? I'm fine.

We are Recorder. We are a new band. Some of us live in Paris and some of us live in New York City. We decided to take a chance and make a record. We never toured the countryside, or slept on top of each other in someone's barn because we ran out of gas money; something that most bands do to get the machine well oiled before taking it to the studio. Instead, we decided to take a strange risk and assemble something from scratch for the sheer purpose of making a record. We're not rich people, even if the tabloids say otherwise. So...once it was decided, some of us went to Paris for a month. We then sat in a dark and small apartment for about three weeks, where we helped write and arrange the material. Then we went and recorded everything over the course of 4 days in the French countryside, live. After that, the Paris crew came to New York and we recorded the vocals, we added a few weird psychedelic synth touches and then mixed everything down. So voila! Here you have it. These are the fruits of our labors.
